ETC… Manos Juntas is a micromill in the Sotara area of Colombia's Cauca region. The goal of this micromill has always been to dramatically increase coffee quality by improving efficiency, from crop to cup. To do that, Manos Juntas Micromill, purchases cherries from local farmers at a rate that is guaranteed to be higher than market rate and in a way that incentivizes delivery of the ripest harvests possible. Manos Juntas then oversees every step of the process until export. This model allows farmers to focus on the healthy production of specialty coffee – while maintaining the infrastructure and completing the meticulous work of sorting, processing, drying, and storing is managed by the team at Manos Juntas.
